Increase availability
An APC Rack Automatic Transfer Switch makes it possible to connect single-powered hardware to two different power sources, in order to increase the availability of this connected hardware and prevent costly downtime. Because an APC Rack ATS uses two input power cords (not included), it can be connected to two different power sources at the same time. By then connecting single-powered hardware to the Rack ATS, this hardware can have access to 2 separate power sources. If one source fails, the Rack ATS immediately switches to the second feed, without the connected hardware being affected.

Easy to use
You can read the status of the APC Rack ATS at a glance via the front panel interface, but you can also manage it remotely thanks to its built-in network management functionality.

Convenience
Because this Rack ATS is equipped with multiple outputs, multiple single-powered devices can be connected to the ATS at the same time, so that all benefit from the security of two feeds.

Safety
The built-in intelligent interface allows this APC rack ATS to monitor both input power sources, detect deviations in voltage or frequency and then take a user-defined action, such as sending an alarm or switching.

Accessories
Connect the APC ATS using 2x the AP9875, (C19-Schuko), AP9876 (C19-IEC309 16A) or AP9877 (C19-C20) and provide the ATS with a temperature and humidity sensor (AP9335TH). You can prevent loose power cords with a retention bracket the AP7769.

Warranty extension
The factory warranty of this APC Rackmount Automatic Transfer Switch is 2 years and can be extended to 3 years using WBEXTWAR1YR-AC-03.

AP4423A is single phase 1U Rack ATS with 16A rated current, 230V rated voltage and 3700VA load capacity. It comes with 2 IEC C20 inlet and 8 IEC C13, 1 IEC C19 outlet sockets. This has been upgraded with APC NMC3 and various technical advancements for network port sharing, environmental monitoring and enhanced security. It has 2-years of standard warranty and 5-years of extended warranty for peace of mind and use for years to come. Users can access and configure Rack ATS through secure Web UI, SNMP, CLI and are fully compatible with EcoStruxure IT.
